Rated 2 out of 5 Does Not Keep the Charge
I do not know how long these batteries suppose to work, but mine does not keep the charge after two years and I need to keep it connected to the plug.

Rated 3 out of 5 Poor Battery Life expectancy
As in the last review, I thought I was reading my experience. Running in a Lenovo E530 the original battery quit charging a few days after the warranty expired and that was with minimal usage on battery power. Sent it back in for an "exception" only to have it returned stating the battery was bad and it was out of warranty. Purchased a Lenovo branded battery and the charge seems to last only about 2 1/2 - 3 hours. The computer the battery goes in is great especially plugged into power but the original battery seems to have a usage life expectancy that is uncannily related to the warranty expiration.

Running in a Lenovo E430c the original battery quit charging a few days after the warranty expired. Purchased an unbranded battery only to find out that Lenovo has firmware that identifies a non Lenovo battery and prevents it from functioning properly. Purchased a Lenovo branded battery after returning the unbranded battery, that battery lasted until a few days out of warranty. The computer the battery goes in is great and gets a lot of use on battery power as well as wall plug power but the battery seems to have a usage life expectancy that is uncannily related to the warranty expiration. I have no choice but to purchase another low life expectancy battery or use the laptop while plugged in. Kind of defeats the purpose of a laptop.

Rated 5 out of 5 Reliable if you know how to use it
I have had my laptop for about 4 months or so and i have had no issues with the battery what so ever. People state that the battery lasts 2-3 hours off of the charger, it actually lasts around 7-8 for me. If you tweek with the power setting and not have them at the highest performance then it should last you all day. I don't normally have my brightness all the way up which makes a huge difference in how long you're battery lasts. Just mess with the setting and don't have a million things running at once and this battery can last you a very long time.
